Slotwise
Privacy policy
Last updated 19 September 2026
Slotwise is run by WiseParadox (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through slotwise.wiseparadox.com, why, and how to contact us about it.
Two kinds of people use Slotwise
- Businesses that create an account and publish a booking page.
- Their customers, who book appointments on that page. When you book with a business, that business decides what to do with your booking; we store it and send the emails on the business's behalf.
What we collect
- Business accounts: your name, email address and password (we store only a scrambled hash, never the password itself), plus your mobile number and company if you give them, your staff members' names and emails, your services and opening hours.
- Billing: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card details; we keep the subscription references Stripe gives us.
- Bookings: the customer's name and email address, the service, staff member and time booked, and its status. Emails we send (confirmations, reminders, cancellations) are kept as a send log.
- Calendar imports: if a business uploads a staff member's calendar file, we keep only the start, end and title of each busy period, to block those times from booking.
- Usage and security: our web server logs, which record IP addresses and the pages requested.
Why we collect it
- to run booking pages, stop double bookings and send the confirmation and reminder emails a booking needs
- to bill paid plans and manage free trials and cancellations
- to keep the service secure and stop abuse
- to contact business customers about their account, and to send them occasional updates about Slotwise and other WiseParadox tools — you can unsubscribe any time. We never market to the customers who book with a business.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run the service — Stripe (payments), our hosting provider, Supabase (our customer database) and Brevo (email delivery) — with the business you booked with, or when the law requires it. These providers may store information on servers outside Australia.
Cookies and third parties
A single login cookie keeps business owners signed in; logging out removes it. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts on our own pages are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when those pages load. Booking pages load no third-party fonts.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. If a business asks us to delete its account, we delete it along with its staff, services and bookings, except where we must keep billing records by law. If you booked with a business and want your booking details removed, contact that business, or email us and we'll help.
Access, correction and complaints
To see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, email admin@wiseparadox.com. If you have a privacy complaint, email us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
